buganda day gala 2021
Greetings Ggwanga Mujje DC members and friends,
We thank you for the support and participation in the Buganda Day Gala on Saturday November 13th. It was a very colorful event and your presence made it extra special.
We recognize all the volunteers, caterers, decorators, entertainers and board members that put the event together. Your hardwork and dedication towards Ggwanga Mujje DC is the pillar on which the next team will move our organization forward.
Our mission as a board is to engage youth and generations of Baganda who are born in the diaspora to appreciate and learn about their culture, traditions and heritage. Okwagala obuganda ne Uganda. Please visit our website and register to become a member.
We are also dedicated towards promoting our community businesses and entrepreneurs. This was a key component of Buganda day and we shall continue that throughout our term of service.
The call to action is for the community to engage and participate in the programs such as Luganda academy (enroll your children in the academy and/or volunteer to teach), sign up for Ggwanga Mujje DC Group life insurance and volunteer to serve in a leadership role to shape the future of our organization.
We thank you once again for attending Buganda Day 2021. Your overwhelming support of our activities will continue to expand our mission to serve the DMV community. Kindly share any feedback with our team and help us improve our events in the future. We hope to see you at our next event. Sincerely, Daniel Kawuma President Ggwanga Mujje DC
